| 2 held for provoking girl into committing suicide | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU: Two youth were today arrested by police at Jullaka Mohalla here for provoking a girl in the locality into committing suicide last month.
Amanpreet Kour had committed suicide at her residence at Jullaka Mohalla on August 20 last. A case in this connection was registered at the Pacca Danga police station.
During investigation, police came to know that two youth of the girl's locality had allegedly created the circumstances that forced her to end her life, according to police sources.
Both of them were today arrested by police and booked under section 306 of RPC.
They were identified as Sunil, son of Kewal and Swaran Singh, son of Sukhdev Singh, both residents of Jullaka Mohalla. |
