| Forum welcomes CM for regularization of incharge lecturers | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sep 6: All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum has welcomed the announcement of Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for regularization of incharge lecturers through State Cabinet.
The central executive of the Forum which met at Jammu under the Chairmanship of H.D Qureshi has expressed its satisfaction that finally the Government has agreed for regularization of all the incharge incumbents in school education department through state cabinet for which the decision has already been taken by the cabinet on March 29,2010 under the chairmanship of Omar Abdullah.
The house expressed its gratitude to the Chief Minister Omar Abdullah , Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed minister for education and Naseem Lankar ( IAS) commissioner education for the historic announcement and declaration for Regularization as “ one time exception” through state cabinet to clear the back log existing in the department since 1998 onwards.
H.D Qureshi the president of the Forum while speaking on the occasion congratulated the community for the achievement and termed it as a “ unique gift” for the cadre on the occasion of Teachers Day.
Qureshi categorically stated that the announcement of Omar Abdullah is the outcome of most sincere efforts and personal initiatives of Peerzada Mohammad Sayeed and Naseem Lankar for which the whole Plus 2 community is thankful and express whole hearted gratitude for their efforts.
Qureshi specially congratulated the Chief Minister for the historic announcement for regularization that too on the occasion of “ Teachers Day” that is in fact the revival of history when Sher-e-Kashmir Sheikh Mohammad Abdullah and later on Farooq Abdullah opted the regularization through state cabinet as “ One Time Exception” and cleared the backlog and the announcement of Omar Abdullah has fulfilled the promise and commitments in this context.
Others who spoke on the occasion include Charan Dass and Manmeet Bali both vice president, N. S Jamwal general secretary, Ashwani Sharma chief organizer and BD Sharma district president Jammu besides many others.
