JWAM protests against rising corruption

JAMMU, Sept 6: Jammu West Assembly Movement (JWAM) today held a protest rally against rising corruption in the state.
During the rally, they said that since Jammu and Kashmir will not be covered under the Jan Lok Pal bill, state should bring a similar bill in the assembly. People from various localities of Jammu-west constituency led by president of Jammu west assembly movement Sunil Dimple organized massive protest, demonstration, Rallies which passed through Janipur-High Court Road, Bakshi Nagar, Talab Tillo, Janipur, Amphalla, Rehari under the banner of the movement.
Leading the rally, Sunil Dimple addressed protestors demanding Chief minister Omar Abdullah to place draft of Jan Lok Pal Bill on the floor of J&K assembly and approve it in the coming assembly session. He demanded strong Jan Lok pal bill. He further said that Prime Minister and judiciary should be covered in the Jan Lokpal Bill.
Sunil Dimple urged the chief minister that coalition government has failed to come upto the expectations of people of Jammu region. He also blamed UPA central government for “step motherly treatment” with the Jammu region in the allocation of development funds to the region.
Other prominent leaders included Dr.Sham Swaroop Gupta, Sat Pal Mahajan , R.P. Khajuria, Rockey Kapahai, Kulwant Sharma, Ramesh Chander Kohli, Sushant, Vivek, T.N.Bhatt, Susheel Sharma, Bansi lal, Rakesh, Vipan, Mukesh, Kala kumar, Sahil Sharma, Pawandeep Singh, Ishan Kouran, Sharad Khajuria, Abhishek Sharma, Sandeep Anthal, Mandeep Singh, Ashwani Sharma and Aditya Sharma.
