| ETO penalizes vehicle operators | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 6: Excise and Taxation Officer (ETO) Naresh Sharma along with executive staff of passenger taxation wing of commercial taxes department under the supervision of Additional Commissioner Commercial Taxes Ramesh Koul conducted checking of Commercial Passenger Vehicles on different routes.
According to a handout, the team checked 206 vehicles and a penalty amounting to Rs. 36,650 was realized on spot from the Passenger Tax Defaulters. Documents of 21 vehicles were also seized for non-payment of Passenger Tax.
