CM reviews Health and Medical education service | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Srinagar, Sept 7 (KNS): Chief Minister Omar Abdullah Wednesday stressed the need on consolidation, upgradation and improvement in the health and medical education services in the State adding that both the sectors have stupendous role in universalizing modern health care facilities and building capable faculties with trained Para-medical staff. The Chief Minister said that modernization of health and medical education is priority concern of the government and focused attention has been concentrated on it. The Chief Minister was chairing a high level meeting to discuss issues pertaining to the strengthening of health and medical education services in the State. The Minister for Health Sham Lal Sharma, Minister for Medical Education R.S. Chib, Minister of State for Health Javaid Ahmed Dar, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister B.B. Vyas, Commissioner Secretary Health and Medical Education G.Q. Peer and other senior officers were present in the meeting.
