| Free books distributed to IST semester students | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, September 7: A function was organized at Government Polytechnic, Jammu in which the Principal of the Institute N.H. Malik distributed the free books to the 1st Semester Students admitted under PWD (Persons with Disability) Scheme of MHRD, Government of India. The students discussed their problems regarding hostel for which
directions were given to the electrician on the spot for rectifying them. The principal advised them to work hard and compete with other students selected by BOPEE.
He told them that one such candidate secured 4th position in 6th Semester Mechanical Engineering Examination conducted by J&K State Board of Technical Education in Jammu Province while another such candidate has been selected at Baba Atomic Research Centre Bangalore. The Project Champion of the scheme Vinod Azad Lecturer in Civil Engineering was also present on the occasion.
