| Scouts and guides camp concludes | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 7: Scouts and guides camp was organized in Heritage School at Jammu from wherein 152 students of classes IV-VIII participated.
STC Scouts and Guides Sahej Singh, A STC Scouts & Guides M.Y.Sheikh and state headquarter commissioner Dr. Gurucharan Singh Ghai trained the students for the ‘Pratham Sopan and ‘ Komal Pankh’ . During three day camp, recruits were acquainted with the cub motto, cub promise and cub greeting.
They were also taught about the fine points pertaining to their personal hygiene, personal well being and good manners. Programme concluded with a grand closing ceremony. Chief Guest on the occasion I.D.Soni in his address emphasized importance of organizing such activities in the school as they go a long way in character building of the child. Other dignitaries present on the occasion included Sunita Gupta Chairperson, Heritage School and Dr. Gautam Guha, Vice-principal, Heritage School.
