| BAJ to strike work today against blast outside Delhi HC | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 07: Bar Association Jammu (BAJ) has deicided to strike work on
Thursday against today's blomb blast outside Delhi high court.
In an emergent meeting held under the chairmanship of BAJ president B S Slathia, it
was decided that lawyers would not attend courts tomorrow as mark of protest against
the blast outside Delhi high court.
Slathia described the incident as a direct attack on the justice dispensation mechanism
in the country and should not be taken lightly.
He said while public was faced with the consistent threat to their lives from the
terrorists, attempts were being made to grant pardon to those who had been found
guilty of such acts of terrorism by a long process of judicial scrutiny.
