| Kathua residents protest against bogus installment | | | Early Times Report
KATHUA, Sept 7: Residents of Nagri have termed bogus and false the announcement of release of third installment to more than 400 beneficiaries of integrated housing slum development scheme for Small and Medium Town.
According to eyewitnesses, irate residents burnt copies of newspaper containing false and bogus news about the releasing of third installment to the beneficiaries to lodge their massive protest. Gaytrai Singh and Baktawar Singh said that after efforts of former power minister Babu Singh, IHSDS scheme was brought to Nagri for 428 BPL families and as per the scheme, Rs. 1 lakh had to be given to the beneficiaries.
They said that more than four years have been passed but nothing has been done to solve problems of 428 beneficiaries of the IHSDS. They have decided to go to court against the news paper for spreading the bogus and false information among the people about the installment to the beneficiaries of IHSDS.
