Agro-Tech 2006 held at Chandigarh from 1st – 4th December,2006 was participated by the Department of Agriculture, Kashmir. In this prestigious event, the Department of Agriculture, Kashmir earned a distinction which would go a long way in restoring the past/ lost glory of the state agriculture products.
The visitors thronged at the stall of the Agriculture Department in large numbers which had some unique exhibits like saffron, kala zeera, lavender oil, honey, flower seeds, corns and bulbs of cut flowers and European vegetable seeds. The traders and exporters had a wide ranging discussion with officers of the department taking keen interest in the availability of Kashmir agriculture products for exports.
