House Committee of Legislative Assembly today in a meting examining appointments made and works executed without following set procedure by various departments since 1996 has expressed concern over the delay in furnishing replies by various departments. The Committee asked the Assembly Secretariat to issue final notice to such departments and make it sure that information asked reaches the Committee before its next sitting.
House Committee met here with MLA Mrs. Khem Lata Wakhloo in chair and observed that all the department heads to furnish complete information so that the Committee is able to complete its proceedings within a stipulated time frame.
The officers present in the meeting pleaded the Committee for devising a proforma so that specific information could be supplied.
