| NPSU protest against failure of centre, state | | |

JAMMU, Sept 8: National Panthers Students Union (NPSU) today held a massive protest demonstration at University of Jammu against failure of central as well as State governments in tackling terrorism in India.
Protest was led by Virender Singh (President JU) and was accompanied by Papinder Singh, Surya Dev Singh and Wasim Mirza. They also criticized Chief Minister Omar Abdullah for tweeting in favour of the Afzal Guru, a nominated terrorist, who has been awarded death sentence by Supreme Court of India.
Addressing the gathering, Virender Singh said that Chief Minister is advocating clemency for Parliament Attack convict Afzal Guru. He further said that the Union Home Minister should take the responsibility of the failure in the security system and resign on moral grounds immediately. Others who were present on the occasion included Jaidev Singh, Navjyot Singh, Rishikesh Bhardwaj, Arun Singh Bhau, Varun Dev Singh and many more
