| Police solve Pancheri double murder, arrest accused | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sep 8 : Police today said they had solved the murder of a widow and her grandson that Tuesday night took at Sadhota hamlet of Sunal in Pancheri, Udhampur.
60-year-old Krishni Devi and her nine-year-old grandson Prakash were Tuesday night brutally murdered at their residence with axes.
Police sources said Krishni's relatives, who lived close to her house and who wanted to grab her property, had allegedly killed her and her grandson.
Sources said the accused had been taken into custody and booked under section 302 of RPC.
