jammu, Sept 8: "Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is an incompetent administrator," say the suffering people of India. "Manmohan Singh is heading the most corrupt government," say the suffering people of India. "Manmohan Singh is not only a weak person but he is also insensitive and irresponsible politician," say the suffering and badly let down people of India. "India has never seen such a weak Prime Minister," says the main opposition BJP. "The Government of Manmohan Singh is a government of corruption, scams and scandals," say the people as well as the opposition parties. "Manmohan Singh is so insensitive and so irresponsible that he doesn't speak even if the provocation is grave and the situation out of hand," bemoan the suffering people and the opposition parties. " Manmohan Singh has polluted the polity and evolved and implemented economic policies which have only helped the corporate houses and foreign countries like the United States and made the life of the people miserable," allege the concerned and suffering people of India and the opposition parties. "Manmohan Singh's government is a government of loot and plunder," allege the suffering and concerned citizens of India. "Manmohan Singh and the Congress (read Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi) have bartered India's geo-political and economic interests to help the hostile countries," allege the suffering and concerned people of India. "Manmohan Singh has no control over the government and he is dictated by Sonia Gandhi and influenced by Rahul Gandhi," allege the suffering and concerned citizens of India. "Manmohan Singh's and the Congress' government is the most cruel government India has ever seen," accuse the concerned and law-abiding people of India. "Manmohan Singh's government has perpetrated barbarities on the unarmed peaceful protesters, including women and children, in the midnight when they were sleeping," accuse the concerned citizens of India. The case in point is the reign of senseless brutalities unleashed against Baba Ramdev and his followers who had gathered at the Ramlila Ground, Delhi, to put pressure on the Manmohan Singh Government to bring back to India black money stashed in the foreign banks. "Manmohan Singh's government is the most unscrupulous government India has ever seen," allege the concerned citizens of India. The case in point is what Manmohan Singh and the Congress did to Anna Hazare, who has launched a crusade against corruption and who has described the present dispensation as the most corrupt and most dishonest dispensation.
"Manmohan Singh has compromised the Indian position in Jammu and Kashmir to please Pakistan, the United States and similar other countries," say some sophisticated commentators and former diplomats. "Indian foreign policy under Prime Minister Manmohan Singh is against the paramount national and sovereign interests of the country," assert several sophisticated and well-meaning commentators and former diplomats and generals. "Manmohan Singh has no policy to tackle the Pakistani-sponsored terrorism that has been bleeding India almost everyday," assert the well-meaning commentators, think-tanks and former diplomats and generals. "Manmohan Singh and the Congress have no Kashmir policy," assert some well-meaning commentators and former diplomats and generals.
These are some of the observations and comments of the concerned Indian citizens who have been suffering at the hands of the Prime Minister and the Congress-controlled UPA Government. One can surely find no difficulty in endorsing the suggestions, comments, observations and conclusions as far as the Prime Minister's administration and economic policies are concerned. There is no doubt whatever that the Prime Minister and the Congress have failed the nation and made the life of the people of the country a veritable hell on earth. But it is difficult to endorse and appreciate the observations, comments, suggestions and conclusions as far as the Prime Minister's policy towards Pakistan, the United States and Kashmir is concerned. When it comes to the United States the Prime Minister suddenly becomes over active to ensure that the Parliament and his government do what the Americans want him to do. So much so that he holds out a threat that he would quit in case his stand on the United State and on the Indo-US Civil Nuclear deal is not appreciated and approved.
Similarly, when it comes to Pakistan he puts his foot down, overrules all the national and rational suggestions, insists on policies which help Pakistan at the cost of the Indian nation and also insists on non-territorial solution to the so-called Kashmir problem. When it comes to Pakistan and the Pakistan-sponsored terrorism he directs the foreign and home ministries not to criticize Pakistan, as also directs them to underplay the losses the nation suffers because of the terrorism exported from Pakistan saying Pakistan, like India, is also a victim of terrorism and also saying that both India and Pakistan have shared destiny. When it comes to Pakistan he goes out of the way to please and appease the Pakistani military and civil administration whose stated objective is to divide, destroy and bleed India. When it comes to Pakistan the Prime Minister even snubs the otherwise controversial Home Minister saying the latter's attitude towards Pakistan appears hostile and unaccommodating. When it comes to Pakistan our Prime Minister seeks to conciliate the aggressive and rabidly anti-India Islamabad by suggesting that he doesn't mind a solution that enables Islamabad to share sovereignty with India in the Indian Jammu and Kashmir.
Likewise, when it comes to Kashmir he suddenly becomes very aggressive saying there would be zero tolerance as far as human rights violations are concerned. He would even give sermons to the Army and paramilitary forces involved in anti-insurgency operations and indirectly warn them to behave failing which action would be taken against them. When it comes to Kashmir he and the Congress party give unflinching support to the NC, which has been consistently muddying the Indian waters in Kashmir and slowly but surely preparing the ground that would help it and similar other outfits to come out of the political and constitutional organization of India.
But these are only a few instances which serve to prove that the Prime Minister is very adamant and that he doesn't care for anybody when he oversteps his authority to give legitimacy to Pakistan and what Pakistan stands for. The fact of the matter is that the Prime Minister and the Congress party are endangering the internal security of the country and subverting the sovereign status of India by adopting soft approach towards Pakistan and the Pakistani friends United States and China and Kashmir. The manner in which the Prime Minister has reacted to the terrorist attack in Delhi yesterday constitutes one more proof of his soft-paddling as far as Pakistan is concerned. Our real problem is neither Pakistan nor Kashmir. Nor are we afraid of the canny United States. Our problem is our own Prime Minister and the Congress and similar other parties. They need to be tackled. The sooner it happens the better. |
