| Crusher owners allege discrimination by Govt | | |

Jammu crusher Association has alleged government of adopting discriminatory attitude towards crusher owners of Jammu Division for denying them direct royalty as is being given in Kashmir Division.
Members of the Association told News Agency of Kashmir that the crusher owners of Jammu said that their counter parts in Kashmir Division are being given direct royalty for collecting material by the department of Geology and mining while they have to get the material through brokers. They said that the brokers who have established links with the department do not allow crusher owners to get direct royalty and charge exorbitant rates of the material from them.
The Association members further allege that Geology and mining are in hand in glow with these contractors who have been given the royalty of collecting stones from different Nallahs of Jammu. |
