| NSUI delegation enquired of the beautification of the campus | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, September 9: A delegation of National Conference Student’s Union (NCSU) and students led by Naseeb Ali Choudary president university of Jammu unit met Prof. D. N Sahai incharge arboriculture and beautification of the campus of university of Jammu.
Major area of the campus is covered by wild grass and weeds which creates menace for the students and others in the campus as it has catalyzed the problem of mosquitoes, insects and other poisonous reptiles.
On the enquiry of the beautification of the campus by the delegation, Prof. D. N Sahai replied that the arboriculture and beautification department has only 61 workers (Malis) whereas the requirement is of 167. He further said that his department has sent their requirement to the concerned authorities of the University for Necessary Action but nothing action in this regard has taken so far.
The National Conference students union appealed to the university authority to maintain the proper sanitation and beautification of the campus as it is directly concerned with the students and others of the campus.
Other present on the occasion are Manjeet singh, Anil Sharma , Gulam Nabi, Murtaza Khan , Gunjan Sharma.
