JAMMU, Sept 9: An extra-ordinary meeting was held today in Jammu at the residence of AICC member and former cabinet Minister Abdul Gani Vakil.
Function was attended by senior congress leaders, former ministers, state congress office-bearers and representatives of frontal organizations. The meeting was presided over by Abdul Gani Vakil. They were unanimous in extending an appeal to separatists to come on the negotiating table and make an attempt to resolve the Kashmir issue through dialogue.
They expressed satisfaction over the massive participation of the people of J&K in Panchayat Polls and smooth and peaceful conducting of Amarnath Yatra.
