| Dr Shahzad joins PDP | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, September 9: Renowned singer of the state Dr Shahzad Aasim along with hundreds of his supporters today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presence of party chief Mehbooba Mufti.
Dr Shahzad Aasim expressed full faith in the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed and Mehbooba Mufti. He said that policies and programmes of the guided by the wishes and aspirations of the people and he was impressed by the policies of this party. He assured the PDP leadership that he would work for strengthening party in every nook and corner of the state.
A native of Sopore area, Dr Shahzad Aasem is doctorate in Music and a famous singer of the state.
Mehbooba Mufti welcomed Dr Shahzad in the party and hoped that with his joining party would be further strengthened.
