| NSS holds two days workshop | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, September 9: Two days workshop on the theme “Role of Youth against Corruption” was inaugurated in the G G M Science College, Jammu under the supervision of NSS Programme officers Dr. Rajinder Singh and Professor Ram Singh.
The function was presided over by the Principal by the college Dr. Satinder Singh. The Chief Guest Quest on the occasion was S S Bijral (IPS) Retired Inspector General of Police, who spoke at length about the menace of corruption in his addressed he stressed on the role of youth against corruption.
He said that today corruption spread like a disease throughout the country. Many educated students jobless due to corruption. He also said youth can play a major role to stop corruption and change the nation. Large number of NSS volunteers of this college along with faculty members from various departments participated in the workshop.
After that some cultural activities like skits on corruption were also presented by volunteers. On this occasion some senior volunteers Prikshit Bali, Vikram Singh, Tushar, Sachin, Shiva, Vijay, Roohani, Pratibha, Priya were also present.
