| Vijaypur youth join PDP | | |  EARLY TIMES REPORT
Jammu, Sep 9: Impressed by the youth policies and programmes of the People Democratic Party and on the persuasion of Digvijay Singh, senior leader, PDP a large number of youth belonging to Vijaypur zone of Samba district joined PDP at party HQ Gandhinagar Jammu in presence of S. Tarlok Singh Bajwa, vice president, PDP, Ved Mahajan, Shanti Devi and Fallail Singh.
On this occasion while welcoming the youth who joined the party State vice president Youth, Rajinder Singh Manhas said that these youth impressed by the policy of youth adopted by the former coalition Government led by Mufti Mohd Sayeed had done a commendable work for the employment and recognition of youth in his tenure.
But unfortunately the present coalition Government led by National Conference derailed the policies and programmes started by the then Government.
Nadeem Khan, general secretary, PDP youth wing said that the present Government has failed on all fronts particularly solving the problems of unemployment of the youth.
The corruption and nepotism are at the peak and it has not taken any steps to solve the problems of the general masses in general and the youth in particular.
He urged the youth to whole heartedly support the PDP and strengthen the hands of Mehbooba Mufti, president, PDP as she is the only dynamic and energetic leader in the state who can solve the problems of the general masses including youth of the state.
At the end Digvijay Singh thanked all the newly joined youth Soni Sharma, Gulshan Sahrma, Anil Sharma, Vicky Kumar, Satish Kumar, Raghubir Choudhary, Avinash Slathia, Amit Sharma and stressed upon them to work with the cooperation and coordination of Rajinder Singh Manhas, vice president, & Nadeem Khan, state general secretary , youth wing.
Other youth leaders present on the occasion include Shamsher Singh Manhas, Abhi Sharma, Jotsingh Singh Saini, (Kathua) etc.
