| Kathua people threaten agitation over bad roads | | |  Early Times Report
KATHUA, Sept 9: Even after two years, Kathua district administration is still struggling to provide road network from Kalibari Bari to Hatli Morh via Shaheedi chowk Kathua.
General Secretary of Pradesh Congress Party and an active member of Kathua development committee Manohar Singh alongwith Rattan Chand Karotra, Pawan Sharma, Mohinder Sharma, Mulkh Raj, Kunti Kumar, Som Nath and Ashwani Sharma criticized the administration and responsible agency for being unable to repair roads.
They said that Kalibari to Hatli Morh road via Shaheedi Chowk and bridge connecting two parts (Arli wand and Parliwand) of the town are life lines of the town where most of the administrative offices of the government and private organizations are situated along with civil secretariat. They said that in this regard, DC Kathua was informed several times by Kathua Development Committee but nothing has been done so far. They said that if the development of Kathua is not taken seriously, grown resentment among people against administration and the executing agencies is likely to result into an agitation.
