JAMMU, Sept 09: Police today raided a house in ward No 9 at R S Pura where an expectant mother was allegedly aborted by a multi-purpose worker.
Police sources said cops raided the house of Ashok Kumar, son of Anant Ram of ward number 9 at R S Pura, in the morning on a tip-off that his wife Santosh, a multi-purpse worker, had aborted a woman.
Santosh was alleged to have aborted Mamta Devi, wife of Ajay Kumar of Batala, Punjab.The R S Pura police had registered a case in this regard. |
