| Shastri held from temple for attempting rape on 2 women | | | Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 09: A shastri was today arrested by police along with a pistol from a temple at Janipura here for allegedly attempting rape on two women.
Police said Vishshwar Shastri, son of Ram Avtar of Uttar Pradesh, allegedly tried to rape two women who had gone to the temple at Janipura to collect their marriage certificates.
On the complaint of the women, police arrested the shastri and also recovered a pistol from him.
