| Global convent holds mock drill | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Sept 10: Global Convent Higher Secondary School (GCHSS) Channi Rama today conducted a mock drill for earthquake to meet the eventualities in case of natural calamities like earthquake.
Exercise was carried out in the presence of founder of the School Mona Pandoh. She highlighted importance of preparedness and awareness to tackle any situation arising from man-made disasters. Staff members were made aware of various disasters and precautions required to be taken before, during and after a disaster.
On this occasion, the principal J. Gandotra said that all schools should hold such mock dills periodically, so that teachers and students develop better understanding of events and happenings around them.
