| Satpal Charak along with supporters joins PDP Early Times Report | | | JAMMU, Sept 10: A prominent political leader from Bishnah, Satpal Singh Charak along with hundreds of his supporters today joined Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the presence of former Chief Minister Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Welcoming Charak in the party, Mufti hoped that with his joining, PDP would be further strengthened in Jammu region in general and Bishnah assembly segment in particular. He asked Charak and his supporters to spread message of PDP in their respective areas and educate masses about programmes and policies of this party.
Speaking on the occasion, Charak said that policies and programmes of PDP have impressed him and he has a strong desire to work under the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed. He said that three year period of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed was golden era in the political history of Jammu and Kashmir because first time, all regions of the state were treated equally. He said that Mufti Mohammad Sayeed as Chief Minister of the state set an example of good governance.
Former Minister Rangil Singh, Trilok Singh Bajwa, Balbir Singh, Ved Mahajan, Shanti Devi, Deepinder Kour, Falail Singh, Hussain Ali Wafa, Suram Singh, Rajinder Singh Manhas, Mohinder Kotwal, Som Nath and others senior leaders were present when Charak joined PDP. Others who joined PDP along with Charak included Bali Ram, Sarpanch, Chajju Ram Panch, Rashpal Singh, Dalip Singh, Choudhary Prem Singh Raghubir Singh and Chouhdary Sajjad.
