Kranti Dal against closure of KV Domana

JAMMU, Sept 10: Kranti Dal has expressed deep regret over the decision of Army to close down Kendriya Vidyalya (KV) Domana situated at Lale-da-Bagh.
KV was established in 1987. Addressing a press conference here today, Anan Sharma and Pritam Sharma said that school was providing the education to wards of defence personnel, and some local population of nearby areas. He added that now the Army under whom the said KV was functioning is going to close the school. They said that this step of the Army is going to jeopardize career of students studying there.
On the occasion Sarpanchs of nearby Panchayats namely, Raj Roop Singh (Muthi Panchayat) Subhash Sharma (Patoli panchayat), Varinder Singh (Akalpur Panchayat), Ashwani Sharma (Sangrampur Panchayat) and Rajdev Singh (Barnai Panchayat) along with some Panchayat members namely Pawan Sharma, Shakuntla devi, Toshi Devi, Vijay Kr. Kalotra, Shyam lal and Vijay Kumar of Muthi and Hans Raj & Suraj Parakash of Barnai were also present.
It is pertinent to mention here that the defence authorities categorically declared the building unsafe and also refused to provide land for construction of school building. Pritam Sharma said that on one hand Army is building schools, providing Computers, taking the students to different parts of the country for excursion, under their "SADBHAVNA PROJECT", while on the other hand they are forcing the school running for nearly 25 years to close, thus spoiling the career of nearly 500 wards studying in the above said KV School.
Jagdish Soodan, Rajinder Bhagat, Vijay Kumar, Sankul Gupta, Manpreet Singh, Harasis Singh, Pt Ravi Sharma shutosh, Varun Gupta, Sanjeev Sharma were also present in the Press Conference.
