NPSU concerned over cancellation of supplementary exams

Jammu, Sep 10: National Panther students Union (NPSU) held a press conference at party head office, Jammu.

The press conference was chaired by Partap Singh Jamwal (provincial president NPSU).

Addressing the press conference Jamwal expressed concern over the notification on cancellation of supplementary examination of Engineering Students by JU in his address he said about the continued protest of students of Engineering Colleges.

On this issue there was no action of JU but yesterday In charge engineering colleges and principal GCET Bupinder Singh held a meeting with the protesting students, In their meeting Singh said there is quick action on the issue and he assured to take them one week to solve this issue.

Jamwal said if there is no action and the problem faced by the students not early solved the students continue their protest and after one week the protest become huge.

He further said govt. give large amount of money to the govt. degree colleges for colleges and student’s welfare but the money which is utilized for student’s welfare can be misused by the college administration. Administration should not utilized this money for their personal purposes. Colleges held sports activities, cultural activities and other students’ related activities on ground level very poor but when the time of funds of these activities they show fake bills to govt.

Jamwal alleged that there is not only role of college administration in this high level corruption but there is also involvement of ministers and other officials. He demanded high commission to take early step on this matter.

Other who were present in this press conference included Aditya Hans, Javed Iqbal, Nishpank Bhardwaj, Lalit Raina etc
