Crossed Swords Division organizes educational tour for students | | | Early Times Report JAMMU, September 10: An Educational and Motivation tour of South India was flagged off from Akhnoor on September 10. The tour aims to provide an opportunity to the children of J&K to see for themselves and experience the scale of development and cultural ethos in the national capital & prominent cities of South India. The tour will visit Delhi, Hyderabad, Tirupati, Chennai and Bangalore in the duration of eleven days from September 10 to September 20. The three teachers and 23 students of Government Middle School, Mera Mandrian, Ambaran and Payan and the administrative staff who will be accompanying the students on the tour were highly excited to be part of the tour and visit various places. Master Bashim Akram, student Govt Middle School, Payan expresses “Since the day my school got a computer under OP SADBHAVANA my excitement to visit Bangalore and Hyderabad has doubled”. Mangesh Kumar, teacher Ambaran School, expressing his satisfaction over his schools selection to go on tour said “ I always wished that the students of my School get an opportunity to go on an educational tour and get an opportunity to see the centers of educational and scientific excellence in the country”. Speaking on the occasion the chief guest conveyed his best wishes to the tour and exhorted them to inculcate ideals of cultural integration and patriotism. He encouraged them to be inquisitive and learn about the culture and people of our great nation.
