JAMMU, September 11: Under the banner of Jammu West Assembly Movement massive protest, demonstrations, rally was held in the Jammu west assembly constituency against the failure of the Government failure to solve the rising traffic problem, in the winter capital Jammu city,
and particularly to the people of Jammu in the west constituency” and raised slogans against PWD,ERA,PDD,JMC.
Hundreds of irate traders, residents ,of various localities of Jammu west constituency Janipur, New plot, Sarwal, Rehari, Bakshi nagar, Cannal Road, Talab Tillo, Subash Nagar, Top Sherkhania joined the
protest rally.
Addressing the protestants at Sunil Dimple President Jammu West Assembly Movement urged the Chief minister Omar Abdullah and accused the PWD, R&B, ERA, Traffic departments, Jammu municipal corporation, JDA & the Govt, have completely failed to come up with any constructive plan to solve the worsening traffic problem of the city. The Protestants also raised slogans against the PDD Ministery for curtailment of power in the winter capital Jammu City Sunil Dimple urged the Chief Minister to personally intervene in the mater and to take up the effective steps to solve the worsening
traffic problems.
Sunil Dimple said in his 30 months old coalition Government not even a single commitment, announcement and assurance given by the Government has yielded any result on the ground.
He demanded construction of multi storied parking at Panjterthi, Supper bazaar shalmar, and at bus stand Jammu. He demanded Metro Rail, Mono Rail and Construction of Circular Roads
to solve the traffic problem faced by the people of Jammu City. The other prominent leaders were Ramesh Chander Kohli , Kastoori Lal Dogra , Thodu Ram Mehra , Adv. Vivek Suri , Raj Kumar Gupta , Sanjay Nagraj , Darshan Sharma , Rockey , Dr O N Pandita, Kulwant Sharma,
