| 6 days IRCH camp organized at Marwah and Warwan. | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kishtwar September 11:- Chief Medical Officer Kishtwar Dr. Ajay Gupta along with team of doctors comprising of Physician Specialist, Orthopedic Surgeon, Lady assistant Surgeon, DHO Kishtwar and Paramedical staff toured Marwah and Warwan areas of Kishtwar District for 6 days Integrated Reproductive and Child Health (IRCH) camps which concluded today. During 6 days tour, IRCH Camps were conducted at Nowapachi Marwah, Afti Warwan and A.D Inshan where in addition to General Medical Examination, Antenatal Checkups, and Immunization to expectant mothers and children’s was also done. Free medicines were also distributed among the needy peoples, beside Oral Contraceptives were distributed and I.U.C.Ds were also inserted. The aim and object of organizing IRCH camps is to give general awareness to the people regarding various activities under NRHM in addition to provide medical treatment to the people of these rural areas.
A part from IRCH Camps, CMO also visits A.D Qadrena, A.D Basmena in Warwan and Sub Center Yurdoo in Marwah. CMO laso interacted with Sarpanches, ASHA’s and local residents at various places in Marwah as well as in Warwan and listened their grievances. He assured them to make all efforts to resolve the problems related to health department in these far flung areas.
