J&K posts 212 against Punjab in NZ U-14 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Sept 11: Sensible innings from the trio of Suhail Lotra, Nitish Jamwal and Shubham Singh today guided hosts Jammu and Kashmir make 212 runs for the loss of nine wickets in their first innings against Punjab in the North Zone under-14 cricket tournament, organised by Jammu and Kashmir Cricket Association (JKCA) at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here. Batting first, after winning the toss, J&K played a sensible innings to pipe up 212 runs for nine in 95 overs. In reply, Punjab made 33 runs without loss in six overs at the end of day one play. Suhail Lotra, Nitish Jamwal and Shubham Singh were main contributors with 46, 35 and 36 runs respectively. Abhishek Khajuria also played well adding 46 runs to the total. Meanwhile, in another match of the day, Himachal Pradesh were comfortably placed against Delhi with 254 for eight in given 95 overs in first innings. In reply, Delhi were struggling at 14 for the loss of two wickets in 12 overs.
