Wikileaks spares central govt; also forgets CMs promoting land grabbing, loot

Early Times Report
JAMMU, Sept 11: Wikileaks has not spared anyone. From deported Pakistani General Musharraf to flip-flop separatist Mirwaiz Umer Farooq, all have been exposed in one way or the other but surprisingly it is silent over `misdeeds' of the government of India.
About Mayawati, the Wikileaks quoting Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) general secretary Satish Chandra Misra said Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Mayawati was corrupt. Satish has strongly contested the report. "Well, Mayawatiji took oath as the chief minister on May 13, 2007, and the Wikileaks cable is purported to have been sent barely two weeks after that... can you imagine anyone in my position making that kind of a statement within days of the formation of the government?" Misra asked.
It further said that Mayawati had 9 cooks and two food tasters. It also took a dig at Gujarat Chief Minister, Narender Modi. Apart from making a mention of his involvement in 2002 riots, Wikileaks wrote on Modi's chances of becoming the Prime Minister of India. "Should the BJP-led National Democratic Alliance (NDA) come to power, dynamics of coalition politics will require conciliatory and consensual style, which Modi has so far not demonstrated."
However, the Wikileaks has not touched the central government. Although, it raised a political storm in 2008 by accusing Congress of buying votes to survive no-confidence motion. US government, it seems, does not want to annoy central government for various reasons. To appease union government, the US government even arrested Ghulam Nabi Fai for his anti-India propaganda'.
Wikileaks, therefore, must have been told to keep its hands off the UPA led congress government for the time being. It has also not made a mention of a Chief Minister at whose behest rightful owners are deprived of their property and land by unscrupulous elements. Will the Wiki leaks do some explaining please?
