Vikalp Morcha, the only way out to save stumbling democracy | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT Jammu, Sep 12: Bhim Singh, chairman, National Panthers Party and untiring champion of confederation of the secular and nationalist regional parties has appealed to the regional parties to join hands to provide a workable, acceptable and credible alternative to the Congress and BJP in the country. In his communication to H.D. Deve Gowda, J. Jayalalitha, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Chandrababu Naidu, S. Prakash Singh Badal,. Mamata Banerjee and other leaders of the regional parties, Bhim Singh, urged the regional leadership to forge a confederation among the regional parties so that a reasonable and visible Vikalp Morcha is brought to play the most needed role in the country to save it from the rule of the Congress and the BJP who have been in power in the Centre because of the negative vote. The Panthers Party chief reminded the regional leaders that time does not wait for anybody and cycle of change is inevitable. In his communication, he said that today some regional leaders still enjoy acceptability and credibility among the people, tomorrow their names may also disappear with the dust of time as time waits for none. He reminded the regional leadership to forge a Vikalp Morcha with clear and specific purpose to bring pragmatic change in the present system so that the new system may combat communalism and criminalization and eliminate corruption and drug abuse from the society so that India shall march ahead in the 21st century to lead the world in the ensuing cultural revolution. The Panthers Party Chief described revolution led by Lok Nayak Jaiprakash Narayan as a revolution for change of rulers. That revolution failed to change system because of many factors. The present revolution has to be ultimate and there lies the need of a pragmatic change in the system. Corruption is the main cause of unrest in the society. Bhim Singh has proposed to hold a crucial meeting of the regional leadership 10th & 11th December, 2011 in this regard.
