| Residents of Dachhan area without ration from last 4 months | | | EARLY REPORT TIMES
KISHTWAR, Sep.12:- The residents of Block Dachhan are without Govt. ration supply from last more than four months , and the ration sale depots of C.A & P.D department are empty , as a mark of protest the Sarpanches of Block Dachhan sit on Dharna infront of Police Post Sirshi Dachhan. The Dachhan area is not connected with motorable road , and all the foodgrains are being carried through mules but due construction of road the bridle path leading to Dachhan area are damaged on various locations .
Mohd Iqbal Wani Sr. Vice President Congress said that the rations cards were issued by the department of C.A & P.D during year 2005-06, on which the ration was being supplied but the same was collected back in year 2008-09 after that no ration card has been issued to the public of Dachhan, and the ration is being issued on sale registers . The people of area are pressing hard rather are at the verge of starvation as the entire area has been effected due to draught, and the general public has urged upon the Govt. to provide regular ration supply to the entire area.
