| RTO Kathua conducts awareness drive | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, Sep 12:
RTO Kathua and NCC cadets jointly organized a special drive to aware the people about the importance of helmets at Kalibari Kathua.
The special drive will continue for a week at different places in Kathua. On the first day of the drive the several two wheeler riders were stopped and checked and those who found not wearing helmet were challaned.
On the occasion, RTO Shiv Kumar Gupta and ARTO Rajeshwar Singh said that the special drive has the motive to spread the awareness among the people about the safe driving with use of full equipments like helmet, license and with fair state of mind in order to avoid the accidents.
They said this programme would be held for at least one week at various locations of Kathua and on spot all the driving system would be checked. Moreover, they said to educate the people about the effective and safe driving we will also be conducting the several awareness programmes at school and college level.
