| Seven bovines recovered, smugglers arrested | | |

Police arrested two smugglers for allegedly involved in smuggling of bovines to Kashmir valley.
According to police, on a tip off a police party headed by SHO, Rajbagh Karanjeet Singh arrested two persons identified as Latif Shah S/O Iqbal Shah and Shabdar Shah S/O Qasim Shah of Kathua from Ujh area and recovered seven bovines from them.
Meanwhile, police during the patrolling arrested a person and recovered a sharp edged weapon from his possession. The accused has been identified as Pawan Kumar S/O Sat Paul of Rajpura, Hiranagar. The police have registered a case.
