Jagti migrant camp sans basic facilities: KPS

Kashmiri Pandits of Jagti Migrant camp stressed that some agents are saying that all the facilities have been provided in the Jagti Migrant Camp but in reality the camp lacks proper supply of electricity, drinking water due to which migrants living there are facing very bad times.
Addressing a press conference here today Jagti Kashmiri Pandit Migrants said that Government has been befooling the Kashmiri Migrant Community by calling meetings of the Apex Committee members when the whole community has rejected the members of the Apex Committee in toto. It was also mentioned that government has secretly appointed some agents who are bent upon to create confusion and misunderstanding amongst the Kashmiri pandits community. First of all Government of India should consider the reason which forced the Kashmiri pandit community -to vacate the valley and go to other places outside Kashmir valley.
KPS has expressed grave concern over the prolonged power curtailment in Jagti Migrant Camp Nagrota. They said that out of 24 hours a day only 6 hours power supplies are restored in this camp which has made the inmates of this Camp to suffer hard.
The KPS has said there seems a deep conspiracy to eliminate this Migrant community by Adding to their sufferings by making prolonged power curtailments in this Camp. They further said there is leakage of roofs, cracks in the buildings in the Camp Jagti.
Kashmir Pandits have made an appeal to the government for advertising remaining posts under Prime Minster's employment package and advertising additional.
KPS has made an appeal for sanctioning and granting one time compensation to the Kashmiri pandits for the losses suffered by them during he past 21 years of exile on account of their properties both moveable and immovable left at the lime of migration.
KPS further warned that if the government does not concede to their requests on priority basis, they will have no other way but to resort to the agitation.
