| Rogi Kalyan Samiti meeting held | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
KATHUA, SEPTEMBER 13- To discuss healthcare and infrastructural development of District Hospital, Kathua, a meeting of Rogi Kalyan Samiti was held here yesterday. MLA Kathua, Mr Charanjit Singh presided over the meeting.
Chief Medical Officer, Kathua, Superintendent District Hospital, Kathua, Executive Engineers of PWD (R&B), Irrigation, PHE, PDD besides other members were also present in the meeting.
During the meeting, various issues related to healthcare and infrastructural development like allotment of medical shop, canteen, public call booths within hospital premises, fixing of prices for canteen eatables inventory, policy for allotment of parking place within hospital premises, provision of sulabh toilets, provision for separate rooms with attached bathrooms ( both with AC / non Ac),construction of boundary wall along private land near mortuary, establishment of audiometery room, machinery for laundry section of the hospital, security checks in the hospital, approval for registration and insurance of 3 ambulances were discussed.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr Charanjit Singh impressed upon the hospital authorities to work with dedication and sincerity for the betterment of hospital and people.
Earlier, Mr Singh visited the wards and interacted with patients and attendants.
