BJP submits 1994 Parliamentary Resolution on J&K in Assembly | | | EARLY TIMES REPOTY Jammu, Sep 13 : Bharatiya Janata Party legislator Ashok Khajuria has submitted the 1994 Parliamentary Resolution on Jammu and Kashmir in the Legislative Assembly, the session of which is scheduled to begin from September 26 at Srinagar.
In a statement issued here today, Mr Khajuria said the resolution on Jammu and Kashmir was moved in both Houses of Parliament on February 22, 1994 and was adopted unanimously but it has neither been rescinded nor amended so far.
''As per the resolution, the House noted with deep concern Pakistan’s role in imparting training to the terrorists in camps located in Pakistan and Occupied Kashmir, the supply of weapons and funds, assistance in infiltration of trained militants including foreign mercenaries into Jammu and Kashmir with the avowed purpose of creating disorder, disharmony and subversion,'' the BJP legislator said.
Reiterating that the militants trained in Pakistan are indulging in heinous crimes against the people, the resolution also condemned the continued support and encouragement Pakistan is extending to subversive and terrorist activities in Jammu and Kashmir.
