JAMMU, Sept 13: Government Gandhi Memorial (GGM) Science College clinched overall championship trophy in the inter-college (men’s) boxing tournament held under the banner of Department of Sports and Physical Education, University of Jammu at MA Stadium, here.
The GGM Science College boxers secured highest 22 points to emerge champion while Government Degree College Poonch remained runners-up with 18 points in their kitty.
In the finals, Chairman Culture Committee of JU, Prof Jasbir Singh was chief guest. He was accompanied besides others by Director Sports and Physical Education, JU, Prof Dhian Singh Bhau.
