| CM visits compounds miseries of commoners in Kargil | | | Early Times Report
KARGIL, Sept 13: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s visit to Kargil compounded problems of locals and passengers travelling towards different destinations. Public address in Kargil canalled on unknown grounds as the stage was taken off today. Media did not allow covering Sarpanch/Panch programme at indoor stadium Kargil. Rally in Kargil was for unknown reasons. However, Chief Minister visited sankoo block and addressed a huge gathering over there.
Visit to shakar chiktan Block was cancelled despite the fact that public was waiting since morning. Hundred of peoples were standard at Zojilla pass and not even one was allowed to move towards drass. About 10 children fell ill due to cold. Meanwhile, entire unit Congress party Kargil resigned in protest against nomination of 4 National Conference members for seats in LAHDC. |
