NCP criticizes traffic management in hilly areas | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT JAMMU, Sep 14:-Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) has criticized the traffic management in hilly areas which led to another tragic road mishap wherein 23 precious lives lost and more than 24 persons crtically injured at Digdol near Ramban. NCP state president Randhir Singh the state Government has abandoned the hill areas of Ramban-Doda-Kishtwar and all other hilly areas of the state, particularly providing dependable new transport buses by the SRTC on these routes. The state Govt. has miserably failed to maintain hill roads resulting in loss of many precious human lives in the entire hilly belt. State NCP demands a judicial commission to pin point the reasons of frequent road accidents. In a condolence massage the state NCP Chief Thakur Randhir Singh conveyed his party’s sympathies to the families of those killed in the mishap. Randhir Singh with his senior party leaders visited the GMC Jammu to see the victims and suggested the better and specialized treatment for some patient outside the State on government expenses.
