| 22 domestic LPG cylinders seized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 14:-Police today claimed to have arrested two labourers with 22 cylinders of Liquid Petroleum Gas meant for domestic usage in Shaheedi Chowk area, official sources said.
They said that based on the information, a police team led by SHO
City, Inspector Vishal Sharma raided a rented accommodation near Delhi
Public School and recovered 22 cooking gas cylinders from the room and arrested two persons for their involvement in black marketing the cooking gas.
The arrested persons were identified as Nassar Ahmed son of Abdul Gani and Nazir Ahmed son of Sanaullah, both the residents of Kulgam district, at present Shaheedi Chowk.
Preliminary police investigation revealed that duo used to sell LPG cylinders on extra rates to the customers i.e. hotel owners and shopkeepers with the connivance of a gas agency.
