| 5 gamblers held, bet amount seized | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sep 14:-Kathua Police apprehended five gamblers while playing cards at village Khore Nallah under the jurisdiction of Police station Basholi and recovered bet amount to the tune of Rs. 960 from the spot of gambling. The accused persons have been identified as Pritam Chand son of Thakur Dass resident of Jannu ,
Puran Chand son of Vias Dev resident of Jammu , Mir Chand son of Keshru resident of Gatodi , Arjun son of Premu resident of Khore Nallah and Mohinder Singh son of Napa Ram residentof Jannu .They were booked under 13 gambling act. However, police sources said, one gambler namely Vijay Dingh son of Kurkoo resident of Bhoond managed to escape from the spot.
