| Miss India Earth’05 inaugurates NIFD’s “Rangeela Desh” | | Forgets yesterday’s experience at JU, joins dance party with students | | Early Times Reporter Jammu / July 30 Femina Miss India Earth’ 05, Niharika Singh inaugurated the annual exhibition “Rangeela Desh” of National Institute of Fashion Designing (NIFD), Jammu here today. The exhibition was focused on four different regions J&K, Rajasthan, North East and Goa. Students of all the three departments Fashion, Interior and Textiles had jointly organized the exhibition. Niharika Singh, after inaugurating the exhibition went around all the stalls and experienced the diversity of our nation under one roof. Talking to “Early Times” Niharika said that her maiden to visit is memorable and she would like to have another opportunity to come here again. She lauded the efforts of all the participating students and their guides as well. She also joined the students in a dance party for a moment and applied “Mehndi” on her hands. When asked about yesterday’s experience at Jammu University, she smilingly said “Forget it that was past”. The young designers of the institute put up a collection in the fashion, textile style art and architecture of the four different regions. “Paradise on the Earth” was the title given to the theme of J&K state whereas; “Chowki Dhani” was assigned to Rajasthan and “Sun-N-Sand” to Goa.
