J&K-Haryana tie evenly poised in U-14 | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Sept 14: The two-day tie between Jammu and Kashmir and Haryana seems to be evenly poised at the end of day one play in the North Zone under-14 cricket tournament underway at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here today. After bowling out Haryana for 137, J&K were comparatively better placed at 69 for one when day’s play called off. Nipum Verma was outgoing batsman with 38 runs while Nidesh Jamwal and Sahil Lotra were at the stumps with 19 and 11 runs respectively. Meanwhile, in another match, Himachal Pradesh posted 237 runs for the loss of eight wickets in 95 overs against Punjab at the end of day one play at Kashmir University ground, here. Shubam Vijj made highest 73 runs while Abhishek remained not out at 70 runs. In reply, Punjab were playing at three without loss.
