| Educational tour for the school children of Kargil flagged off | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
Kargil, Sep 14: The Educational tour of the children from various schools of Kargil has been flagged off by the Chief Executive Councilor LAHDC Kargil Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan from Army Goodwill School Harka Bhadur Kargil.
This tour is organized by the Sadhbhavna Wing 121 Infantry Brigade Kargil and during the tour the children will visit Jammu, Delhi, Agra, Ajmer, Jaipur and back to Kargil.
While talking to our correspondent one of the child told that they are very excited for the visit, as they will be able to see those places which they only knows through Books and TV.
Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan appreciated the role of Army in this kind of activities which makes the poor children to visit those places which they cannot afford.
On this occasion the Brigade Shami Raj of 121 Infantry Brigade, ZEO Kargil, students and parents were also present.
Delegation
A delegation of Poyen Village Kargil met with the Minister for CA&PD and Transport Qamar Ali Akhoon and kept their demands in front of the minister in the form of a Memorandum.
The Minister assured the Delegation that the genuine demands will be taken on priority basis. Later the minister called a meeting of PWD and PHE departments and directed the R&B Department to start the macadamization work of the Poyen Road within two days and directed PHE department to complete the under construction work of Water supply scheme of Poyen village within one month.
In this meeting the CEC LAHDC Kargil Kacho Ahmad Ali Khan, MLC Kargil Syed Ahmad Razvi and SE PWD were present.
