JD(S) protests insufficient doctors in SDH Bhaderwah

BHADERWAH, Sep 15 To intensify its struggle against the alleged discrimination meted out to the people of Bhaderwah, the Janata Dal (Secular) today organized a massive protest demonstration in the premises of the Sub District Hospital, Bahderwah.
The protesters shouted anti coalition government and anti-health ministry slogans. The protesting JD (S) activists alleged that people of Bhaderwah are dying due to unfilled pots of doctors in the hospital which are lying vacant for the last two years. They said that the state government has adopted criminal silence over the issue despite repeated requests at all forums.
The protest and demonstration held under the chairmanship of JD (S) state acting President Mast Nath Yogi who alleged that 29 posts of specialists are vacant at SDH and recently Health Minister without taking care of the people transferred maximum doctors and no alternative was provided. He said Bhaderwah is a disaster zone where natural happening are going on and now when there is only one doctor left in the hospital, poor patients are not in a position to shift their kith and kin to abroad for treatment.
He lashed upon the local MLA /MLC and urged upon them to resign as they failed to take up the matter with state government in this connection. The demonstrators urged upon the government to immediately full fill the all vacant posts of doctors if not then a large protest and demonstration will be intensified in the whole constituency.
