JK earns 2 points in NZ under-14 cricket | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT SRINAGAR, Sept 15: By virtue of their first innings lead, hosts Jammu and Kashmir opened their account securing two points against Haryana in the ongoing North Zone under-14 cricket tournament at Sher-e-Kashmir Cricket Stadium, here today. Chasing first innings total of 137 runs by Haryana, J&K played sensible innings and managed a lead of 12 runs before declaring their innings at 149 for eight in the post lunch session. Tribuban Singh played unbeaten innings of 55 runs while Nipun Verma contributed 38. Later, in their second innings, Haryana lost quick wickets and could make 61 runs in 27 overs. Shubam Singh claimed three wickets from J&K. |
