| Court rejects bail of two involved in abetment to suicide case | | | EARLY TIMES REPORT
JAMMU, Sept 15: Special municipal mobile magistrate V S Bhau today rejected the bail
applications of Sonal Gondhi and Subam, both residents of Jullaka Mohalla who were
allegedly involved in an abetment to suicide case.
The accused, in the past too, had been intimidating the victim by uploading her
photographs and letters on internet in case she did not develop physical relation with
them.
On August 20 last, an information was received by police that 11th class student
Amanpreet Kour was found dead under suspicious circumstances and proceedings
under section 174 of CrPC were initiated.
During investigation, IO found that the accused had allegedly been harassing the victim
to develop physical relation with them and also threatened to post her photographs on
internet.
After hearing both the sides, the court rejected the bail applications of the accused.
